Horacio Rodolfo de Sosa Cordero, 10th Marques de Sosa, (Buenos Aires, June 29, 1945 - Monaco, June 12, 2014) was an Argentine painter, sculptor and ceramist.

He belonged to an old Spanish aristocratic family that dates back to the fourteenth century in the lands of Castile.  The only son of Don Rodolfo María of Sosa Cordero and Mrs. Ángela Marcó del Pont. 

His first studies were with the Jesuit Fathers, who awakened his vocation for art.  In 1965, he settled in Paris, France and forged a long friendship with Alberto and Diego Giacometti, with whom he collaborated, at the request of the sculptor in the last stage of his life, to make some patina, especially for the Picasso Museum - Hotel Salé Paris .  At the same time he also meets Francis Bacon, Pablo Picasso, the Viscondesse Marie-Laure de Noailles, Antenor Patiño, Porfirio Rubirosa, Charles de Beistegui, Alexis de Redé, Emilio Terry, Aristotle Onassis and his daughter Cristina, among other interna   ...  [Displaying 1000 of 2363 characters.]  Artist bio
